He was wounded in action (Gun shot wounds in face) the 16th of September 1917, and was transported to England, and went back to France again to join his unit the 10th of January 1918. Then he became sick and went again to hospital (Trench foot?) 15th of February 1918. He rejoined his unit again 25th of April 1918.
